changing the template and then having a go at stripping out everything including post date and comments.

This morning I came across your page with the same template as mine and wondered if you could benefit from this single post style blog?
Just re-edit the same post by adding some more to the bottom. If you wanted to strongly separate the pieces of text you could put bars across [just strip the code from another site by loading it up then looking at source code in an individual post by going to VIEW => select SOURCE CODE].
